Why Hiring a Private Investigator Gets Better Results

A NETWORK OR RESOURCES

It’s fairly common for private investigators to have type of background in law enforcement or the legal system. This helps ensure that your P.I. is able to do work on your behalf while adhering to the law. Failure to do so might technically earn you personal evidence, but would not be admissible in a court of law.

That same background of experience grants us a certain reputation as well as a collection of reliable resources that we can use that the general public does not have access to. Everything we do is on the up and up, but we simply are not held back by the same restraints that public law enforcement and courts are when it comes to allocating their resources.

LICENSED AND LEGALLY BONDED

Private investigators have to be licensed and undergo mandatory training in nearly every state in the United States. This includes some sort of background education in law enforcement, knowledge of legal procedures, firearms training, and several other determining factors that are determined on the state level.

All of this is to ensure that that we are held to the same safety and legal standards as any other means of law enforcement. With that being said, private investigators are not deemed eligible to make arrests. We can use legal means to gather evidence, but it is up to the local law enforcement to act upon the information we provide.
